MGP is a fact based training facility providing students the highest standard of coaching in the country. Our coaching is based on science and data so there’s no guessing unlike the competition. Our owner and Director of Instruction, Bill Schmedes III, is consistently recognized as one of the top golf instructors in the country.
Our students have won 250+ events around the world ranging from the professional to amateur levels. We’ve assisted 23 professional golfers on the PGA, LPGA, European, and Korn Ferry Tours. Our amateur players have won events such as the US Women’s Public Links, Massachusetts Amateur, MET Amateur, NJSGA Women’s Public Links, US Kids World Championship, and US Teen World Championship to name a few.

At MGP we are big believers that effective golf improvement must be based on the person and their individual blue print. It’s a very difficult task to ask everyone to attempt to move and swing the golf club the same way knowing that we as people are all built and wired differently both internal and external. Our coaches understand how to find the optimal golf swing for you and you only! There are many different ways to swing the golf club and achieve greatness. We will provide you the tools and coaching necessary to play your best golf ever!
A developed process for all new golfer’s to help you reach your goals as fast as possible. The initial assessment is a 1 hour process to provide you a roadmap on how we will get you playing your best golf. Our comprehensive process, elite coaches, and technology will provide you options on how we will best go about achieving you’re golfing goals. The player will have a complete understanding of what needs to be improved, why the improvement is needed, and how the improvement will take place.

He’s been named a Golf Digest Best Young Teacher in America since 2013, a Golf Digest Best in State Instructor since 2014, a Golf Tips Magazine Top 25 Golf Instructor, US Kids Top 50 Kids Coach, and FCG Top 25 Elite Junior Coach in the USA.

Christian comes to us from the Columbia, SC area where he was a professional at both Spring Valley Country Club and Timberlake Country Club. He’s a certified instructor that has apprenticed directly under Bill Schmedes, one of the top ranked golf coaches in the country, for the past year at Mastery Golf Performance.
Christian has also spent time learning under many other top ranked golf instructors in the country including Dana Dahlquist, Scott Cowx, and Justin Parsons to name a few! Outside of his experience, he also holds a number of certifications including a TPI certification, multiple certifications from Scott Cowx, and an MGP certification.
